Absolutely terrible customer support. I've been a customer for years, and everything was great until I ran into a problem with an order. When that happens, they couldn't care less—rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. They'll do anything to dodge giving a refund or replacing your order.

I've shopped with this company several times, and the service has consistently been top-notch, just like the products.

Not long ago, Royal Mail misplaced my order, but they promptly sent out a replacement via 1st class - can't say a bad word about that. You can't fault a company for the hiccups of Royal Mail, and they were speedy in fixing the issue.

I've made a few purchases before and usually, things go smoothly; but honestly, you really see a company's true colors when things go wrong...

I recently placed an order that never showed up. The tracking app they use (Shop) indicated it was "sent." After sending two emails, they got back to me claiming it had been delivered, complete with a screenshot from Royal Mail. The thing is, no one was home when it was said to be delivered, and they won’t tell me who (if anyone) signed for it. Basically, their answer is "talk to Royal Mail" (even though it’s the seller’s job to deal with the couriers).

Putting aside their legal obligations, in my experience, whenever I've faced a similar situation with other companies, they’ve always handled it promptly and courteously. Not only did the Beard Shed drop the ball on following up, but their emails also went from brief to downright rude in no time!

I had to reach out to Beardshed three times before I finally heard back about my order (thus the 4-star rating). When they finally responded, they suggested I check with RM, who, after spending four hours trying to get through over a couple of days, informed me they had the item, which just arrived.

The product was nicely packaged, and anyone familiar with Detroit products knows you can't go wrong. Until we can travel again, I'll definitely be using Beard Shed once more.

Really pleased with the service, super happy with the item, delivery, and cost.

The support here is way better than my beard, plus the balm smells even nicer.

What a nightmare! Seriously, steer clear of this place. My package never showed up, and they refuse to either resend it or give me my money back. They keep saying that Royal Mail claims it was delivered, so their response is basically, 'You need to deal with Royal Mail,' 'We don’t make any promises,' and 'The Beard Shed isn’t liable if your package doesn’t get to you.' According to the Consumer Rights Act, the retailer is responsible for the goods until I actually get them. I pointed this out to them, but they just brushed it off. I really want to back smaller businesses, but it’s these kinds of careless sellers that push us towards Amazon.

I received a defective bottle of beard oil that had a crack at the top of the dropper, causing oil to leak all over. The packaging was solid, so it must've been sent that way. I snapped some pics and sent them an email, but I've heard nothing back. I also reached out through Facebook, and still, no reply. It’s been a rough experience, and they clearly don’t know how to handle customers. It’s a bummer since I was trying them out for the first time, but I’ll be looking for alternatives. I wouldn’t recommend them.

I started using this site because I was on the hunt for a particular brand that was tough to track down in the UK.

The website is user-friendly, reliable, and has the latest products. They offer a fantastic range, not just for facial hair but also for overall male grooming.

Free delivery is always a bonus, and it gets to you quickly.

Each package is nicely wrapped, and there's often a little note inside saying, "Great to see you again, Phil! Hope you enjoy your..."

Sometimes, they even throw in a sweet treat.

So, having a beard feels like a pricey venture these days with every Tom, Dick, and Harry peddling some sort of miracle oil or personal wax or whatever. But the smooth service and customer care, which included a maom maom (should’ve sent two) and a custom note from them, is what really makes this spot stand out from the others I’ve spent my cash on.

What I appreciated was that I could’ve snagged the product elsewhere, but this place feels like my new bearded buddy.
